The Grading Scale
The following is a breakdown of the information you can expect to find in all of my reviews:
Each album will have 4 areas to be graded on:

Lyrics
Conscious %
Originality
Personal
Lyrical content will be rated from 1-10 based off how conscious, truthful, and spiritual the lyrics are.
Lyrics that are Hurtful, Violent, Destructive, Unethical, Drug Oriented, Hyper-Sexualized or anything else that would be considered "low-vibe energy" will result in points being docked.

Conscious % is scored off of the actual percentage of songs on the album that are of a conscious level. This percentage is divided by 10 in order to get a 1-10 score.
Basically, if the song is of a high enough caliber to be on the Music For Your Soul playlist, it will count as conscious.

Originality will be a rating of the album from 1-10 based on how original the music is both lyrically and instrumentally.
This will be scored by comparing it with other albums of the same genre, and other music the artist has previously released.

Personal will give it my own score from 1-10 of how much I like the album. This rating is simply my opinion and personal preference.
Sometimes I find music that meets all the criteria to be included in the playlist, but I personally just don't care for the sound.

= Overall Score
Each of these scores will be added together and the total will be divided by 4 to get an overall score from 1 to 10.

Example:
An album scores 8/10 on lyrics
7 out of 11 songs made it on the playlist
(7/11=63.63% divided by 10 equals a score of 6.363)
7/10 for originality
and 9/10 for my personal rating
To calculate the overall score I would add together the scores (8 + 6.363 + 7 + 9) and get a total of 30.363.
Then divide 30.363 by 4 to get a final score of 7.59075 which would then be rounded up to 7.6 out of 10.

In the future, I would love to replace my personal rating with a community voted rating, but at the moment I lack the resources and technical know-how.

Each review will also include:
A scale from meditation to celebration showing the tempo range of the album
A selection of lyrics with powerful messages to contemplate

Each review will contain an index of logos to help you find which playlists the album is featured on.
If available,
lyrics for all songs on the album will be uploaded to the Lyric Library
Links to all official channels of the band, including where to purchase the album
